Soft Play Video Invitation

About this design

Your guests open a soft play party film with your little one's name and age on it. They tap to jump in and a 30-second film plays: in through the soft play, down the slide, into the ball pool, past the party food and on to the birthday cake. In the ball pool the film stops and waits for them to tap "Give him a bounce!" (or "Give her a bounce!"), then it carries on and your invitation is written over the cake: their name and age, the party, the date, the time, the venue and your reply-by date. Then the page opens out below: a countdown, the play plan, what to wear, a live map and a reply form. All on one link you send by WhatsApp, text or email.

🎂 ANY NAME, ANY AGE: type your child's name and the age they're turning, and it's on the film, the page and the printable card. Our demos say Alfie is 2 and Mia is 2; yours says whatever you type, and you can change it any time.

👦👧 BOY OR GIRL: both versions are included. Boy = Alfie in his blue striped top; Girl = Mia in pink. Same soft play film, same party page. You can also switch between the two in your editor after you buy, and everything you've typed stays.

What your guests see

• The cover: your child's name and a big age number, and a Tap to jump in button
• The film: five soft play scenes (the play frame, the slide, the ball pool, the party food, the cake), with a stop where your guest taps to give them a bounce
• The invitation written over the cake: name and age, the party, the date, the time, the venue and the reply-by date
• A countdown to the party
• The play plan, and what to wear
• A live map with Open in Google Maps and add to calendar
• A grown-ups' corner for parking and drop-off notes
• A reply form on the page itself: can they come, will a grown-up stay, allergies, a mobile number, a note for you
• Things to play with as they scroll: tap the birthday child to bounce, a tap game (Pop the balls), and their own Soft Play Pass with their name on it
• A party tune plays through it, with a music on/off button
• Works on iPhone and Android. It's a web page, nothing to install

RSVP built in. no google form. no spreadsheet.

• Parents reply on the invitation. Nothing for you to build, nothing for them to sign into
• Your dashboard shows who's coming and who can't, who's staying, allergies and notes
• Add your guests from your contacts on Android or iPhone (iPhone adds a small Apple shortcut the first time), or paste them from Notes or a message, and each gets their own link
• Each guest then reads Not sent yet, Sent, Opened, then Coming or Can't make it, so you can see who still needs a nudge
• Replies from the shared link are matched to the guest by name
• One tap writes the reminder for the ones who haven't answered. A week to go, day-before, on-the-day and thank-you messages are ready too
• Download the list as a spreadsheet if you want one

Send it from your dashboard

Tap Share invitation and your phone's share sheet opens: WhatsApp, Messenger, text, email, whatever you use. Or send it one guest at a time: with their number saved, a guest's WhatsApp or Text button opens their chat with the invitation ready to send, and marks them Sent. Share a picture makes a Story and a square post with your QR code on it, for Instagram, Facebook or your WhatsApp status. On WhatsApp and iMessage the link arrives with a picture and your child's name on it.

Questions

Do my guests need an app?

No. They tap your link and it opens in their phone’s browser. No app, no account.

Can I change the details after I send it?

Yes, as often as you like. Your guests keep the same link, so you never have to send it again.

How do I see who is coming?

Every RSVP lands on your own page, with names, answers and a running count.

How do I get back to my invitation?

Bookmark your page. Or go to tap2open.co.uk/start and type your order code and the email you paid with.
