Your guests open your link and tap to open. A candlelit Christmas dinner film plays, with music: the golden turkey with all the trimmings, fizz poured into crystal glasses, the Christmas pudding flaming, a cheers around the table. Then the film stops on two people holding a Christmas cracker. Your guests tap to pull it, it snaps, and a card comes out with your names, the date, the time and the venue on it.

Then the page opens out below: a countdown, a welcome message, the running order for the evening, the dress code, a map, Secret Santa details and a reply form. And there's a cracker to pull again for a (terrible) cracker joke. All on one link you send by WhatsApp, text, email or your work chat.

How it works

• 1️⃣ Buy, then open the PDF in your Etsy downloads. It has one link: tap2open.co.uk/start
• 2️⃣ Type your Etsy order number and your name
• 3️⃣ Add your details: who's hosting (you, a couple, or your company), date, time, venue. Your invitation appears straight away, ready to change
• 4️⃣ Change anything you like by tapping it: words, headings, music, sections
• 5️⃣ Send your link. Replies land on your dashboard. Change anything, any time, on the same link
