About this design

A DIGITAL scratch card for their phone. Nothing is posted: you send them a link by WhatsApp, text or email, and they scratch the gold on their own phone. A cream card with a gold frame arrives as a surprise, they scratch the gold heart with a finger, and your secret is revealed with a drumroll and confetti. Like a paper scratch-off card, but instant, with nothing to wait for, and it can be sent anywhere in the world.

How it works

What they see

• It arrives as a picture card in the chat, "Something has arrived for Stacey", not just a bare link
• They tap to open. A cream card with a gold frame rises up, with their name, your occasion wording and your message
• On the right is a gold scratch heart (or star, or ticket) hiding your surprise
• They scratch it with a finger. There is a real scratch sound and a drumroll that builds the closer they get
• Then a sting and confetti, and the surprise appears: your words, an optional photo and an optional date
• Buttons let them say thank you, scratch again, or add the date to their calendar
• Works on any phone, iPhone or Android, in the phone's browser. No app, nothing to install, nobody signs up
• Nothing of the surprise shows before the scratch

Your surprise

• Hide anything you can type: "Weekend away in Amsterdam", "Spa day for two", "Concert tickets", "You're going to be a Grandma!", "Will you be my bridesmaid?", "Afternoon tea with me".
• Add a photo if you like. Over 100 photos of places are ready to choose from, or you can add your own photo
• Add a date (and a time) and they get an "Add to calendar" button. No date, no button
• Add your own message and who it is from. It shows on the card

Do my guests need an app?

No. They tap your link and it opens in their phone’s browser. No app, no account.

Can I change the details after I send it?

Yes, as often as you like. Your guests keep the same link, so you never have to send it again.

How do I see who is coming?

Every RSVP lands on your own page, with names, answers and a running count.

How do I get back to my invitation?
