Your guests open your link and find themselves at the gate of a garden at night. Fairy lights in the hedges, festoon bulbs overhead, a starry sky. They swipe to walk down the path, and on the line either side are your photos, pegged up like Polaroids with your own captions written underneath: baby pictures by the gate, all grown up by the fire. Tap one and they step right up to it. At the end of the path they arrive at a fire-pit lounge with a real flickering fire, "18" balloons, a live countdown to your party, and a jukebox playing music. On the easel sits a welcome board with your photo and your name: tap it and your invitation opens, with the plan for the night, a map, and the RSVP. All on one link you send by WhatsApp, text or email.

How it works

What your guests see

• A photo-real garden path at night they walk down: swipe to walk, drag to look around, tap a photo to step up to it
• 8 photo spots along the path for your own photos or short videos (videos play silently on a loop), each with your own caption
• A fire-pit lounge at the end with a real flickering fire, "18" balloons and a live countdown to the party
• A welcome board on an easel with your photo, your title and the date
• Your invitation: the plan for the night with your times, Find us with a map and directions, what to wear, and one tap to add it to their calendar
• A jukebox with music: two party tracks of ours to choose from, or your own MP3
• Works on iPhone and Android. It's a web page, nothing to install

• A song request on the reply form, so you get a party playlist from your guests (you can switch it off)

• Add your guests and each gets their own link, so you see Not sent yet, Sent, Opened, then Coming or Can't make it
• Reminders ready to send to anyone who hasn't replied

Easy to make yours, from your phone

• Everything is in plain boxes on one page, and it saves as you type
• Add photos or a video to the path, change one with a tap, move them up and down. Number 1 hangs by the gate, number 8 by the fire
• Your photos and videos are fitted to the Polaroids for you
• Fewer than 8 photos? Our own ready-made night garden party pictures (sparklers, the cake, balloons and more) fill the empty spots, so the path always looks finished
• Just type their first name: the invitation, the welcome board and the printable all say "Sophie's 18th" for you
• Preview your real invitation, send yourself a test, undo any change
• Your guests' link stays the same, so nothing to resend

What you can change

• Their name (the invitation and the board say "Isla's 18th" for you) and the date, start and finish time

• The "18" balloons by the fire (this design is made for an 18th)
• The layout, colours and fonts

• The garden, the fire-pit lounge, the music and our pictures are made with AI tools and finished by us. Your own photos and videos are yours and are only used on your invitation

Questions

Do my guests need an app?

No. They tap your link and it opens in their phone’s browser. No app, no account.

Can I change the details after I send it?

Yes, as often as you like. Your guests keep the same link, so you never have to send it again.

How do I see who is coming?

Every RSVP lands on your own page, with names, answers and a running count.

How do I get back to my invitation?

Bookmark your page. Or go to tap2open.co.uk/start and type your order code and the email you paid with.
